Development Activities
 
    While in Minnesota, I wrote grants in conjunction with Arrowhead Regional Arts Council for such non-profit organizations as Aitkin County Friends of the Arts, Inc., Advancement of Rural Talents (ARTS, Inc.), Grand Rapids Players and KAXE-FM (Northern Community Radio).
     
    Since arriving in California in 1984, I have written grants for Victims in Search of Assistance (VISA) in San Jose, Northside Theater Company (as Development Director), California Conservatory Theatre (as General Manager), Oakland Ensemble Theatre (as Development Director), The Academy of the Sword, City Lights Theater Company, American Theater Ventures, Corporation for the American Theater, San Jose Stage Company (as Director of New Programs), The Flamenco Society of San Jose, EXO Productions (as Managing Director), The BMT Theater (Ed Bullins), San Jose Multicultural Artists Guild, and Los Lupeños de San José (as both Managing and Development Directors). I completed my seventh year at KTEH, Silicon Valley Public Television where I had been promoted from Grants Associate to Director of Community Development. I am currently working as a freelance Development Consultant.
